27.  Looking from the bridge towards Barry / Cardiff.  The buildings on he left are part of the "West Site" of the MOD base.  The large building towards the right of centre is part of what is now Cardiff Airport.  Whether its airstrip was once part of the St Athan site I do not know - but see next photo.
