Class 47 47715 waits patiently at on the loop at Swanage for its next turn of duty. Normally, the loop would be used for the loco, which brought the train alongside into the platform, to "run round" the train to the other end ready for the next journey. However, the loop is not being used today. Due to the expected number of visitors longer trains are being used, which are too long to fit in the loop, so one loco brings the train in, and another loco couples up to the other end to do the next journey.
