12139, a diesel shunter, was built by English Electric, to an LMS design, at Darlington in 1948, but for ICI, not BR! It went into service at ICI's Wilton works (North side of the Tees estuary opposite Middlesbrough) where it remained in service until 1982. It has been given the number 12139 in preservation, but the name "Redcar" was carried whilst with ICI.
