55.  Back at Grosmont, and for some reason, our engine has been taken away and this diesel put onto the front of the train for the rest of its journey to Pickering.  It is 37 264 (originally D6964), a BR Co-Co Class 37 built by English Electric (another long-lost part of the erstwhile GEC empire) at Newton-le-Willows in 1965.
