12. Judging by the fancy windows and curtains, the Blyth and Tyne Brewery, overlooking the ship in the previous photo, has now been converted into flats. A bit of research comes up with conflicting stories - a) that production ceased in 1916 as part of the wartime restrictions, and b) that they were taken over by Associated Breweries in 1936!
